Substrate Verification: Inspection of the installation area to ensure the floor is level and free of major cracking, spalling, or joints that could compromise the lift’s stability.
3. Concrete & Structural Installation
Structural Anchoring: Precision drilling and setting of high-grade anchor bolts according to manufacturer specifications for minimum embedment depth and torque requirements.
Concrete Compliance Verification: Verification that the existing concrete slab meets the lift manufacturer’s strict engineering specifications, typically requiring a minimum of 4 inches to 6 inches of depth and a compressive strength rating of 3,000 PSI or greater.
4. Mechanical & Utility Integration
Complete Setup & Assembly: Structural assembly of columns, carriages, overhead beams, lifting arms, equalization cables, and hydraulic cylinders.
Electrical Connection: Proper routing and hookup of the power unit to the shop’s electrical supply, ensuring correct voltage, motor rotation, and safety switch wiring.
